Fire Extinguishers
Trent Safety Services can provide a full range of Portable Extinguishers which are a requirement in the workplace under the regulatory reform (fire safety) order 2005. We offer design, Supply, Installation, and servicing. See below for a full list of products and services and how we can support your business.
Service and Maintenance
Under BS5306 Part 3 all Fire Extinguishers must be serviced on an annual basis by a qualified technician. Trent Safety Services are proud of our expert team who provide thorough and correct servicing methods. We apply asset tags to all Fire Extinguishers to provide the most comprehensive report in the market. You know exactly what work we have done and when. We offer different contract solutions to suit your business. Our engineers carry a great range of stock and spare parts reducing the need for repeat visits.

Design and Supply
Trent Safety Services offer a free design service. Under BS5 part 8, there are specific places in which Fire Extinguishers must be placed. Our qualified team can support you in deciding in best place to designate them making sure risks, hazards and escapes are covered. We also offer a supply only service, please contact us for pricing.
Installation
Our expert team are on hand to install your portable Fire Extinguishers. We take pride in our installation, making sure we do not cause damage to property and that our work is visually appealing. All hung fire extinguishers and mounted on a British Standard wall bracket and we also offer back boards on request. All new fire extinguishers must be commissioned at the point of installation. This involves a basic service.

Trent Safety Services will only use the best Fire Extinguisher brands available in the UK. We mainly Supply Jewel Fire Group or FireSheild products
WATER
CLASS A
Available in 6 and 9 litre
Water fire extinguishers are ideal for small offices and can tackle class A Fires such as Wood, Paper and Textiles. They are cost a cost effective solution to cover the minimum requirements.
FOAM
CLASS A,B
Available in 600ml, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 Litre
Foam Fire Extinguishers are a great versatile extinguisher. Bigger fire ratings mean more coverage. They can tackle class A such as Paper and Card, and Class B liquid fires such as petrol or paint
CO2
CLASS B ⚡
Available in 2 and 5 KG
CO2 Extinguishers are your answer to covering all electrical risks. CO2 extinguishers will not cause damage or electricution and will also cover Class B Fires such as Petrol or paint
ABC POWDER
CLASS A,B,C ⚡
Available in 600 and 800 ml 2,3,4,6,9, 12 KG
One of the most versatile Extinguishers ABC Powder will cover Textile, Liquid and Gas fires. They are however not recommended for indoor use unless specified by a fire risk assessment
SPECIALIST METALS
CLASS D ⚡
Available in 9 KG
Specialist metal fire extinguishers are for use where there is a risk of Fire involving a flammable metal. Trent Safety Services offer Monnex, M2 and L2 specialist powders
WET CHEMICAL
CLASS A, F
Available in 3 and 6 Litre
Used for cooking oil fires, you will normally find a Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher in a commercial kitchen. They come as standard with a long lance for safety and can also be used on a class A fire.
